Good to Know Before You Visit
Bring two valid government-issued IDs, and at least one must include your photo. Accepted examples: passport, driver's licence, Ontario photo card, PR card, citizenship card, certificate of Indian status or military ID. Health cards cannot be photocopied but may be shown as secondary ID.
Digital submissions reach the RCMP the same day. When no criminal record exists, certified results are typically mailed within about 3 business days. If a record exists or manual review is required, the RCMP can take 120 days or more - we will help you plan around your deadline.
Walk-ins are always welcome during business hours, but booked appointments are seen first. Booking takes less than a minute on our booking page.
